Area Stage Conservatory has a long-standing tradition of fostering talent, nurturing creativity, and providing a supportive environment for artists of all levels. We've got some exciting new classes in store that will spark your child's artistic passion and help them shine on stage this coming Spring!
We're thrilled to introduce Comedy Improv and On-Camera Acting. Comedy Improv is a blend of games, exercises, and teamwork, that'll build confidence and create unforgettable moments on stage. In On-Camera Acting, you’ll learn how to adapt your performance for the camera, work with different angles, and capture the subtleties of your character's emotions. For the younger stars in the making, Early Stages classes are a fun and interactive way for children ages 3 to 5, to build confidence, develop social skills, and discover the joy of performing.
We have added Disney’s 101 Dalmatians Kids to our musical lineup. Join us on a heartwarming adventure as we follow the journey of Pongo, Perdita, and their adorable puppies in a delightful, musical extravaganza. Performances go up in March 2024. Stage I & II students will participate in Anastasia Youth Edition in May of 2024, and the full-length musical Anastasia will be presented by Stage III students also in May.
One of the highlights of our spring conservatory program is the return of Broadway Bites. This intensive, one-week workshop is a thrilling rollercoaster of creativity and teamwork. Together, students will rehearse and perform a 15-minute musical all in one week!
Thanks to The Children’s Trust, all classes are part of the Enrichment Program. Students enrolled will have access to a full suite of classes as well as free homework tutoring and SAT Prep (Academic Support) and Theatre Immersion.
